The Voice of Fu Jen Catholic University

  • The Voice of Fu Jen Catholic University (VFJU), a unique pilot radio station, was established on January 1, 2001. Located in Liberal Enlightenment Hall, College of Education, this experimental radio station broadcasts daily programs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on FM 88.5. Its audience is composed of the students and citizens in the neighboring communities of Fu Jen Catholic University, including Hsinchuang, Taisan, Wugu, and Sanchung areas, with a population of about a million. The guideline for the operation of VFJU is knowledge, life, entertainment and service. In 2003, VFJU further overcame the limitation of audio transmission by launching an online live broadcast service.
  • Besides providing a perfect environment for related course for students, it also serves as a direct two-way communication channel on campus as well as a means of promoting educational ideals and services of the University.
  • Content of the radio programs ranges from music, art, interviews, and news, to public services; these programs showcase the creativity of students. The station also cooperates with local news agencies, other universities pilot radio stations as well as renowned stations in Taiwan.
